Avowed DLC Guide – How To Access the Premium Skin Packs and Companion Outfits in the Premium Edition
Avowed from Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios is now available worldwide for those who bought the Avowed Premium Edition or the Premium Upgrade and used the Game Pass version of the game. This Premium Upgrade and the Premium Edition both include premium skin packs for yourself and your companions. You can't access these immediately though.
What skin packs are included in the Avowed Premium Edition and Premium Upgrade?
The Avowed Premium Edition and Premium Upgrade Addon include the Obsidian and Eora armor sets and also the Eora and Obsidian Collection skins for your companions.
How to access the Avowed Premium Skin Packs
Once you have set up Party Camp at a Waystone, you can access both the Obsidian and Eora armor sets through the Party Stash at the Party Camp.
How to change costumes in Avowed
After you've claimed the skin packs and armor from the Party Stash at the Party Camp, you can change your companion outfits at the Main Camp Tent in Party Camp. For your own armor, you can equip it from the inventory screen. Both armor sets are considered Unique sets.
- The Obsidian set includes: Obsidian Order Cuirass, Obsidian Order Gauntlets, and the Obsidian Order Sabatons.
- The Eora set includes: Engwithan Cuirass, Engwithan Gauntlets, and the Engwithan Greaves.
When can you access the Avowed Premium Skin Packs?
Once you've finished the prologue and reached Claviger's Landing, you will talk to a few NPCs and then will spot a glowing Waystone while exploring (or as shown on the map below). Interact with this to set up a Party Camp. Once this is done, you can access the costumes and armor from the Party Stash.
Can you upgrade to the Avowed Premium Edition from the base game or Game Pass version?
Once the game has launched on Steam, you will be able to buy an upgrade from the store page here. If you play on Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass, you will be able to buy the upgrade here. It is worth noting that the early access portion of the Premium Upgrade will not be applicable if you buy it post-launch.
