Eko Software and NACON today unveil the corrupted world of Dragonkin: The Banished, introducing players to the various environments in this new Hack'N'Slash. In the heart of these hostile lands, one last city stands firm, humanity's final sanctuary: the City of Montescail. Much more than just an environment, this evolving city is a hub for players, who can develop their heroes through a variety of services. Dragonkin: The Banished will be available in Early Access on Steam from March 6, 2025, and on consoles on its final release.

In the Dragonkin universe, desolation and draconic corruption reign over what were once human lands. Powerful Dragons exert their influence through monstrous hybrid creatures, which players must confront.

Several environments will be available to players upon the game’s launch into Early Access. In the heart of the Swamps of Ja'Ksara and the Jungle of Kalah, plagued by the green Dragon's blood, player will face their enemies' poison. On the beaches of the Old World Archipelago, cradle of the Oracles, they will encounter creatures with destructive electrical powers inherited from the blood of the Blue Dragon, and plunge into the discovery of Delphaipolis, the fallen capital of the Oracles. Various underground locations and dungeons invaded by fearsome adversaries are also waiting to be discovered in the endgame. Throughout the early access period, their hunt will lead players through new environments, enabling them to discover Dragonkin's fantastic mythology and bestiary.

Nestled behind steep walls, the City of Montescail is humanity's last bastion. Here, players find merchants and warehouses where they can trade rewards, craft weapons, armor and more. In this evolving area, players can upgrade the level of the City using the Prosperity earned during their progression. As they do so, they see the city rebuilt and new merchants arrive, offering their own unique upgrades and crafts. Players will be able to develop a real strategy and prioritize certain upgrades according to their build objectives.

The services and bonuses unlocked in the player's City are available to all characters in the city, including those of his friends when they join his City once online multiplayer becomes available during Early Access. The City of Montescail is therefore an essential location, contributing to character itemization.
