First Final Fantasy III PSP Screenshots Released

As we reported only the other day, Final Fantasy III is finally set to make an appearance on the stronger of last generation's handhelds, the PSP. Square Enix released the first screenshots for the port today along with a better idea of the specific new features that this version will be providing.

Along with the expected 16:9 screen ratio support that Widescreen gaming provides, a Gallery mode available for players to view illustrations as well as listen to the different music featured in the game, an Auto Battle mode with the option for playing at double speed for the busy gamers, and finally the ability to play the game in its original 8-bit soundtrack.

The game is set to be released in Japan on September 20th.
