No Rest for the Wicked The Breach update launches on April 30, biggest update yet

Moon Studios just announced that action RPG No Rest for the Wicked will be getting its biggest update yet, The Breach, on April 30. The developer also announced that it has secured the publishing rights for No Rest for the Wicked.

No Rest for the Wicked originally hit Steam Early Access last April published by Private Division. It is now self-published and the developer revealed a lot about its upcoming The Breach update during the Wicked Inside showcase that just aired. Gareth Coker has rejoined Moon Studios to compose new music for No Rest for the Wicked as well. Moon Studios also confirmed that the next major update after The Breach will introduce multiplayer.

No Rest for the Wicked is now available on Steam Early Access. It is also planned for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at a later date.

Moon Studios has hosted the second edition of its Wicked Inside event, sharing major news about the acclaimed developer and major updates about the future of its ARPG No Rest for the Wicked, which is currently in Early Access.

What’s in The Breach?

  • New Story & Areas – Players will continue their journey, exploring Lowland Meadows and Marin Woods, encountering fresh threats like the Harvesters and the Balak Taw.
  • Expanded Combat & Builds – New weapon archetypes (Gauntlets & Wands), new enemies, and an updated loot system for more build variety.
  • Replayability Enhancements – Dynamic world changes with the ‘Alive’ System, where factions and enemies dynamically reshape the game worldt
    The Plague System unleashes powerful new plagued enemies and bosses. Pestilence outbreaks now occur all over Sacra, and the player can cleanse these regions to gain potent new plagued resources.
  • Revamped Systems – Ability to teleport directly to their house, Improved item stacking, new fast travel options, refined enchantments, and major quality-of-life improvements, including improvements to timers and an entirely overhauled storage system.
  • Hardcore Mode – A new option for the most dedicated players.
  • Visual & Performance Upgrades – Enhanced lighting, improved DLSS implementation, and optimizations for smoother gameplay.
