Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver are releasing a trio of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II updates today: Patch 1.2, a free barber shop DLC for Henry, and official modding support via the Steam Workshop.
Patch 1.2 is a major update, the culmination of five months of work dedicated to refining and improving the Kingdom Come: Deliverance II experience. This comprehensive update delivers over 1,000 fixes and improvements, spanning gameplay balance, NPC behavior, environmental improvements, and equipment adjustments.
The update also addresses community feedback regarding country-specific localization, delivering refined Chinese translations (Traditional and Simplified), an improved Korean font for better clarity, and a newly recorded French voiceover. For a detailed breakdown, the full patch notes are available in the news section of kingdomcomerpg.com, structured by quest for easier navigation.
The first of several planned free DLC additions lets players take Henry to the barber shop to change his hairstyle and choose between a clean-shaven look or a more rugged appearance. Various facial hair options are also available, from designer stubble to a full beard. Whatever the choice, a fresh trim temporarily buffs Henry’s charisma, making him even more charming.
Dedicated Steam modding support has been introduced to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, bringing a full suite of tools offering greater accessibility and direct Steam Workshop integration. This toolkit will give players the freedom to modify over 300 elements of the game, from UI and combat mechanics, to RPG elements, and AI behavior. Whether making subtle tweaks or complete overhauls, the possibilities for customization are vast.
Warhorse will discuss these updates in detail during its next developer stream on March 20.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is out now on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S - available in Standard, Gold, and Collector's Editions.
