Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 begins a new series of character trailers with a look at Gustave

Kepler Interactive and Sandfall Interactive have begun a new series of character trailers for turn-based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 ahead of its launch on April 24. The first trailer focuses on Gustave, one of the protagonists. 

The trailer highlights Gustave (voiced by Charlie Cox), and goes into his backstory with some new gameplay for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Each character in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will have their own weapons and skill trees.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 launches on April 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will be available on Game Pass from day one. Read Alex's preview here and Scott's recent preview here.

Today, independent video game developer Sandfall Interactive and games publisher Kepler Interactive released the first in a series of new weekly trailers spotlighting some of the playable characters in the upcoming Reactive Turn-Based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. 

Each character in Expedition 33 has their own story, motivation, and emotional arc that players can look forward to discovering when the game launches on April 24. Alongside their own skill trees and powerful weapons to discover, each character also has a unique combat mechanic to master in their mission to destroy the Paintress. 

In today’s trailer, fans can discover more about Gustave (voiced in English by Charlie Cox and in French by Alexandre Gillet), an engineer who has dedicated his life to the city of Lumière’s defense and agricultural systems. As an Expeditioner, he devotes his final year of life to defeating the Paintress and reclaiming a future for Lumière’s children.
