Super Robot Wars Y Collector's Edition releases physically in Japan and Asia

Bandai Namco has revealed the limited physical Collector's Edition for Super Robot Wars Y. The physical releases for the game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, and the limited Collector's Edition will add physical memorabilia with a focus on the game's original characters.

The primary highlight of the package will be the Robot Spirits action figure of Lunedrache. As shown near the end of the reveal trailer, the Lunedrache will appear in-game as the original protagonist's mech of choice.

In addition to that, the Collector's Edition will include 6 acrylic stands based on the original characters. So far we only know the names of the left three characters: Cross Tsukinowa, Forte Tsukinowa, and Echika Y. Franburnett. Completing the package will be a 76-track OST album and serial codes to unlock content that would be normally available via pre-order/early purchase bonuses, as well as the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate editions.

This limited physical edition will be available not only in Japan but also in the rest of Asia. We have also confirmed that Southeast Asia will also get the package with the English version of the game. Availability in other regions is still unconfirmed, though, as Bandai Namco Entertainment America's announcement does not include any mention of the Collector's Edition.

Following the initial reveal at the Japanese March 2025 Nintendo Direct, Bandai Namco confirmed that Super Robot Wars Y will be available worldwide in 2025 on not only Nintendo Switch but also PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
