Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade delayed once again to May 15

Game Source Entertainment and 7Quark have announced another delay with a new release date for Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade. The upcoming roguelike action RPG will now be available simultaneously worldwide on May 15.

This announcement means that the game has now been delayed for three times in total. When Yasha was first revealed in April 2024, it was slated to release within the year. But when the company launched a Kickstarter funding campaign in November, they delayed the game's release to March 2025. Another update in January technically brought another delay when they confirmed April 24 as the full release date.

In their latest announcements, Game Source and 7Quark noted that they were overwhelmed by the amount of pre-orders for the limited edition. They will also delay the delivery of digital codes that include the OST, artbook, and 4K wallpapers to early May as a result. However, they will still ship physical backer rewards between mid to late April.

You can also find the delay announcement after the jump right below. Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The release of Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade, originally scheduled for April 24, has been postponed to May 15.

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize to all the players who have been eagerly waiting for the game.
This delay is not due to development issues but rather because the demand for the limited edition on various platforms far exceeded our expectations.

After careful discussions with our publisher GSE, we learned that manufacturers are working hard to increase production, and the 7QUARK team also needs to handle additional approval processes.
To ensure that both the game and the limited edition items are delivered in their best possible state, we have decided to delay the release across all platforms.

Additionally, there will be a slight adjustment to the Kickstarter reward fulfillment schedule:

[Proceeding as Planned]
■ March 28 (UTC+8) – Closed Beta begins
■ Mid to late April – Physical reward shipments

[Changes]
■ Early May – Digital code delivery (Game copies, 4K wallpapers, OST, Artbook)

Once again, we sincerely apologize to all our backers and supporters.
We understand that this decision may cause inconvenience, and we deeply appreciate your patience and support.

We will make the most of this extra time, working closely with our partners to ensure that Yasha: LDB becomes a game that truly lives up to expectations.
