Primal Game Studio, in partnership with publisher Knights Peak, is excited to unveil the third installment in its "Spotlight" video series for the highly anticipated action RPG, Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree. This dark fantasy Metroidvania-inspired title combines deep RPG mechanics with challenging combat and a rich, atmospheric world.

The latest Spotlight video offers players an in-depth look at the game’s class system, focusing on two of the primary playstyles: Vanguard and Spellbinder. With each class offering distinct combat approaches, players will have the freedom to shape their journey through the cursed world of Mandragora.

Vanguard – The Stalwart Warrior

A melee-focused class excelling in direct combat. Players can choose from three loadouts:
  • One-handed weapon + light shield – Balanced offense and defense with quick counterattacks.
  • One-handed weapon + heavy shield – Strong defense at the cost of mobility.
  • Two-handed weapon – High damage output, sacrificing defense.
Each loadout includes unique abilities like "Enrage" for increased attack power or "Whirlwind" for area-of-effect damage.

Spellbinder – The Arcane Master

A magic-focused class specializing in ranged attacks and powerful spells. Players can adopt one of two styles:
  • Mage Assassin – Mid-range burst damage with spells like "Shadow Shards."
  • Full Caster – Long-range attacks with unpredictable effects like "Chaos Dice."
