Super Robot Wars series information stream on April 20 will cover SRW Y and SRW DD

Bandai Namco has announced that they will hold a new live stream featuring new information for the Super Robot Wars series on YouTube this Sunday on April 20 at 19:00 JST (10:00 UTC / 11:00 BST / 06:00 EDT / 03:00 PDT). This stream will contain new details for both the upcoming console game Super Robot Wars Y and the ongoing mobile game Super Robot Wars DD.

The upcoming stream will consist of three segments. The first one will cover the much-anticipated Super Robot Wars Y, which was first revealed at the March 2025 Nintendo Direct. Based on a previous pattern with SRW 30, we can expect the full title roster of SRW Y to be revealed here.

The second segment will feature Super Robot Wars DD's new content, with a new unit set to be added to the roster in late April. The third and last segment will have the stream's hosts showcase toys and figures of robots that have been featured in the SRW franchise.

As a side note, this stream will also feature a new format for the Super Robot Wars series' livestreams. Prior streams for the series were titled Nama SupaRobo Channel (Live SRW Channel), with the recent ones getting an additional "App Version" suffix since only SRW DD was featured. The upcoming stream will have the new moniker SupaRobo Series Jouhoukyoku (SRW Series Information Bureau).

Super Robot Wars Y will be released simultaneously worldwide in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Meanwhile, Super Robot Wars DD has been available on Android and iOS in Japan and East Asia since 2019. You can also find the upcoming stream right below.
