Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 gets a new lore trailer ahead of its launch next week
Kepler Interactive and Sandfall Interactive have released a new lore trailer for the upcoming turn-based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 narrated by Jennifer English who voices Maelle in the English cast.
Leading into the game's launch next week, we've had many trailers including character ones for Monoco, Sciel, Lune, Gustave, and Maelle followed by a behind-the-scenes video for the voice recording process. Today's trailer will likely be the final one before the launch trailer, and it goes over the game's lore.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 launches on April 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will be available on Game Pass from day one. Read Alex's preview here and Scott's recent preview here.
You can find the Lore trailer and details from Sandfall Interactive below:
Each year, the Paintress inscribes the cursed number on her monolith—and each year, an expedition sets out to end her reign.
None have ever returned, but they have laid the trail for those who come after.
Sixty-seven years after their world shattered in the Fracture, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 follows the idealists still daring to dream of a future for Lumière.
In this trailer—narrated by Jennifer English (voice of Maelle in the English version)—step into Maelle’s world on the eve of her departure with Expedition 33.
One last chance to destroy the Paintress, so that she may never paint death again.
Expedition 33 will release on April 24 2025 on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Epic Games Store. Pre-order now!
