Wuthering Waves Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration coming 2026, new 2.3 content revealed

During iits special broadcast that just aired, Kuro Games revealed new Wuthering Waves version 2.3 content and announced a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration.

This broadcast follows the recent news that Wuthering Waves will be coming to Steam on April 29 which is also when version 2.3 goes live for all platforms. Wuthering Waves for Steam will follow the game's PlayStation 5 launch when it comes to new platforms or storefronts for the game. The stream went over anniversary plans including login events, reward events, upgrade plans, and optimizations coming to the game.

Wuthering Waves is now available on iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation 5. It launches on April 29 for Steam.

Kuro Games hosted a Preview Special Broadcast that showcased a first look at a new Version 2.3 content including new resonators, upcoming anniversary events, and a new collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, as well as Wuthering Waves year one gameplay stats! • Updates and Upgrades: 
  • Initial Top-Up Bonus Reset - Following the Version 2.3 update maintenance, the initial double top-ip bonus will be reset for all price tiers in the Store.
  • Upgraded Returnee Event - During the Reprise of Tides event, complete progress tasks to claim rewards and enjoy exclusive double drop bonuses in both Boss Challenges and Weekly Challenges. The limited-time Returnee Bundle will also be available for purchase. Rovers that have not logged in for 60 consecutive days or more will have access to different 7-Day Login rewards and Returnee Quests. Complete them to obtain up to 10 Radiant TIde and other rewards.
  • Upgraded Pioneer Podcast - The item Modifier will be added to Pioneer Podcast rewards. The process of obtaining EXP and Materials will also be optimized. Additionally, in Version 2.3, you’ll be able to access certain quests directly from the Pioneer Podcast page.
  • Birthday Blessing - Set your birthdate on the Terminal page to unlock the Birthday Blessing feature. Login on your birthday or 7 days after your birthday and you’ll receive a unique Birthday Blessing gift. If the birthday you set is earlier than the date which you set it, you can still receive your Birthday Blessings for the year. The “Global Pre-Registration and Social Media Milestone” mail and “Beginners Choice Convene” mail expire on 5-22-2025 at 11:59 (UTC+8). Be sure to claim the rewards contained in the mail before they go away. If you register after 5-22-2025 12:00 (UTC+8) but before Version 2.4 is live, you will still receive the “Global Pre-Registration and Social Media Milestone” mail and “Beginner’s Choice Convene” mail, along with the rewards contained within. Following the Version 2.4 update maintenance, more in-game events will become available. If you are new to the game, you can participate in beginner quests to win a selectable 5-Star Resonator and other rewards.

  • Ray Tracing & 120 FPS - Version 2.3 will expand support for Ray Tracing to a broader range of graphics cards, including certain AMD and Intel models. Additionally, the 120 FPS option will be made available for a broader range of graphics cards.
  • No CD for Boss Fight - You can restart the boss fight immediately after completing a Boss Challenge or Nightmare Challenge.
  • Glossary - Underlined hyperlinks will be added to complicated or important in-game terminology. Clicking on a hyperlinked term will bring up its definition.
  • Game Resources Download Optimization - PC Game resources will be optimized, and the official launcher will continue to support incremental updating. Furthermore, pre-download will be available on Mobile for Version 2.3.
