Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones appears on Nintendo Switch Online lineup
Nintendo has added Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones to the Game Boy Advance library in the Nintendo Switch Online lineup. Those who have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription can now find the game on both the American and Japanese lists.
For the record, The Sacred Stones is the 8th overall entry in the Fire Emblem series that appeared in Japan in October 2004. It is also the series' 2nd title to have an official localization released in North America in May 2005 and Europe in November 2005. The game has a standalone storyline that takes place on the continent of Magvel and stars the royal siblings Ephraim and Eirika.
The Sacred Stones has thus joined The Blazing Blade—the 7th series entry originally known in English as Fire Emblem, as the first-ever localized title—and that also means all GBA Fire Emblem titles are now accounted for in Nintendo Switch Online. As a side note, The Binding Blade—the 6th overall entry and the 1st GBA title—has also appeared in the subscription lineup, but it only appears exclusively in Japan, just like how the original GBA release never received an official localization.
Nintendo has also uploaded new trailers for Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones on both their American and Japanese YouTube channels, and you can find both of them right below.
