Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket will have Alola-focused Celestial Guardians expansion packs on April 30

The Pokemon Company has revealed that Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket will have a new major expansion pack series titled Celestial Guardians on April 30 worldwide (with exceptions for US Pacific, Alaska, and Hawaii time zones, which will see the content launch on April 29). This set will primarily cover content from the Alola Region of the Generation VII entries that launched with Pokemon Sun and Moon.

As with prior major packs like the Gen I Genetic Apex and the Gen IV Space-Time Smackdown, this expansion will come in two packs featuring Solgaleo and Lunala, the respective legendary mascots of Pokemon Sun and Moon. Celestial Guardians will mostly feature Pokemon that debuted in Generation VII, such as the starters Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio along with their evolutionary lines. The supporter cards in this set will also feature Alolan characters like Lillie and trial captains like Ilima and Mallow.

You can find the official reveal trailer for the Celestial Guardians expansion packs right below. Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is available worldwide on Android and iOS mobile devices.
