Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is coming to Nintendo Switch in Asia this Summer with English support

Eastasiasoft just announced that it will be releasing Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 for Nintendo Switch in Asia this Summer with English support included.

If you've not kept up with the way this trilogy has been handled in the West in recent years, Idea Factory International canceled the originally announced western release for the trilogy on Nintendo Switch after it was indefinitely delayed. Since that cancellation, the publisher has announced plans  to bring the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy to PS4 in the West. Now, it is coming to Nintendo Switch with English support, but only in Asia. It will see a digital and physical release with pre-orders going live soon.

All three games in the trilogy are available on PlayStation Vita, Steam, and will soon be on PlayStation 4 in the West, with the first game also having a PlayStation 5 version titled Neptunia reVerse.

Today we are thrilled to announce that we have once again partnered with Idea Factory to release Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 for Nintendo Switch in Asia. This release will include English and Traditional Chinese text as well as voiceovers in English and Japanese.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 is a remake of the series’ first game, now featuring a wealth of prior downloadable content as extras, making this the definitive way to experience the cult classic JRPG. Players take control of heroine Neptune and the other CPU goddesses as they set out to save the world of Gamindustri. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 is a role-playing game with engaging 3D combat, immersive dungeon exploration, equipment crafting and unique systems to customize the gameplay experience, along with a beloved sense of humor that occasionally breaks the fourth wall. 

Physical editions for Nintendo Switch will be available for pre-order with online retailer Playasia this Thursday, May 1st at 11:00pm Hong Kong time. Only 2000 Limited Editions will be produced which will include the game, manual, soundtrack CD, art book, Joy-Con™ stickers, mini case, acrylic standees and a numbered certificate in a collector’s box for US$59.99 plus shipping, while supplies last. There will be no reprint of this Limited Edition. Standard copies will also be available at US$39.99. Upon release, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 will also be stocked with select retail partners in Asia.
