Monster Hunter 4 gets first in-game screens
Famitsu has gone live with the first three screens of Monster Hunter 4 along with the transcript of its interview with producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and director Kaname Fujioka in this past week's Weekly Famitsu.
Development on MH4, which was announced as a 3DS exclusive before Tokyo Game Show at a Nintendo event last September, began in parallel with development on Monster Hunter 3G, which enabled the development team to experiment with features for 4 by implementing them into 3G for 3DS.
The home base in MH4 is called Barubare. Simply, it's a caravan park in all but name that will move to places throughout the game.
Two feylnes can accompany you in your adventures this time, where it's been promised by Tsujimoto and Fujioka in their Famitsu interview that there'll be "catchy" new elements related to the cat-like creatures.
In terms of single-player, the dev team are promising signifigant changes to its story and the bigger amount of NPCs in series history.
For multiplayer, Famitsu says it'll feature 1-4 players for local play. No information mentioned on online play by the mag, though
