Mass Effect 3 will be a Wii U launch title, to include an interactive story for the first two games

Mass Effect 3 will be launching later this year along with the Wii U, EA has confirmed today.

The game will feature new control schemes that utilize the GamePad, bonus DLC such as Extended Cut, and an interactive backstory, similar to what ME2 on PS3 saw, covering the experience of the first two games. Players can make decisions during key points and bring that narrative into Mass Effect 3.

Mass Effect 3 for Wii U will also feature online multiplayer, similar to its PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 counterparts.
