Shinji Hashimoto: No comment on Final Fantasy X HD's development status

Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto was recently asked about Final Fantasy X at a Southeast Asian Final Fantasy media tour.

Unfortunately all he could offer up was a “no comment.” With the one year anniversary of the announcement looming, we literally have no information on the HD remaster, which was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2011 for PS3 and PS Vita.

Outside of a few vague comments, such as the game starting production at Square’s PD1 studio earlier this year, the company has yet to formally unveil the title. Given the 25th anniversary event is going on this weekend, perhaps some sort of further confirmation will come out – be it through interviews next week or otherwise.
