Fire Emblem: Awakening edges closer to its western release

While no official date has been announced for Fire Emblem: Awakening's western release outside of a vague "2013" timeline, Nintendo has decided to break the silence and release a full-length trailer for the title.

Released earlier this year in Japan, the game saw strong sales both originally and through extensive downloadable content that was provided following launch. Nintendo has confirmed that DLC will indeed make it overseas as well.

Today's trailer provides the first glimpse at Fire Emblem: Awakening's English localization. The game is still scheduled for an early 2013 release.
