Dragon Quest VII remake dated, official teaser site opens

A formal announcement for Dragon Quest VII's 3DS remake has been made following its reveal yesterday in Weekly Jump.

Square Enix has launched a teaser site for the game, revealing with it a final date and price. Due out on February 7, 2013, the 3DS revision will carry a price of 6,090 yen while adding new features such as redone graphics and StreetPass functionality.

ArtePiazza will be handling the conversion along with newly orchestrated music by Goichi Sugiyama.
