Bioware after more next Mass Effect feedback - sequel or prequel?
Bioware's Casey Hudson, creator of the Mass Effect Universe and Executive Producer on all three games in the trilogy, has hit twitter once again searching for fan feedback to plan the upcoming next entry in the series - and this time is interested to know if fans would prefer a prequel or a sequel to the original trilogy.
"Parsing through your thoughts on the next #ME game," he wrote. "Would you be more interested in a game that takes place before the trilogy, or after?"
This is something of a turn around - Hudson previously suggested that given the finality of Mass Effect 3's final moments any future entries in the series would take place before or during Shepard's timeline.
Hudson has asked fans what they'd like to see in the game and noted a particular fan interest in playing alien races in recent weeks. Last week, Bioware confirmed that their Montreal studio - previously responsible for Mass Effect 2's cutscenes and DLC and Mass Effect 3's multiplayer - would helm the next title in the series.
Would you prefer a sequel or a prequel? Time to let Bioware know - and us, in the comments!
