Take a tour of Final Fantasy XIV's new Black Shroud

The third entry in A Realm Reborn’s alpha video series covers Final Fantasy XIV’s Black Shroud.

Those familiar with the original version of the game will recognize the large forest area present in the city-state of Gridania. This week’s video highlights some of the changes made to the Black Shroud including updated graphics and landmarks, as well as FFXIV’s new map as adventurers make their way through the North and Central Shroud areas.

As usual this footage comes from the alpha version of the game, which has currently been active in Japan with international players scheduled to join in some time next week.
