Mugen Souls Z announced for PlayStation 3

Compile Heart is at it again. They've gone and announced a sequel to Mugen Souls - a title which most recently launched in the US to interesting reviews.

Once again in development for PS3, the game will be produced by Keiji "Shooting Star" Inafune - though not the one of Capcom fame.

Mugen Soulz Z is set within 12 worlds created by the ultimate god. The main character Shima - one of these gods - sets out on an adventure to gather certain seals. She weilds a coffin and the first game's heroine Chou-Chou, rides in her hand. The game's battles are said to be quite different and focus on co-op elements.

The game will launch in Japan next year, complete with a limited edition version containing a booklet, DVD, CD and PS3 avatar codes. You can find the game's teaser site here.
