Nintendo and Atlus announce Shin Megami Tensei/Fire Emblem crossover

Nintendo has used today's Nintendo Direct stream to announce a bit of a shocker for RPG fans - a cross over between their beloved Fire Emblem series and Atlus' equally loved Shin Megami Tensei series. 

The announcement came pretty much out of nowhere, and is the first confirmation that Atlus will be developing a Wii U title. The trailer merely features artwork of the characters from both series - it's presumably too early to show any actual footage. Check out the trailer below.
