Nintendo reveal new Monolith title, X - and it looks a lot like Xenoblade

Nintendo has revealed a new title from the team at Monolith Soft - and titled simply 'X', it appears to embrace and expand on many of the concepts from the awesome Xenoblade.

The game's debut trailer appears to feature HUD elements that are very reminisicent indeed of the hit Wii RPG, though it does also appear to feature a chat window and multiple players battling together - indicating that the game likely has a multiplayer element.

Given the 'X' title, it isn't clear if this is related to Xenoblade or merely a spiritual successor - but more of this kind of action from Monolith is no bad thing, considering how much we liked Xenoblade. Check out the trailer below.
