Drakengard 3 debut trailer is laced with bloodshed

Directed by Yoko Taro, the same person who steered the ship on the previous Drakengard titles and the lovely NieR, Drakengard 3 (or Drag-On Dragoon 3 as it is known in Japan) is the latest in the underrated series of titles that has somehow had a lot of staying power. During an event streamed live on NicoNico, the developers have released the first trailer for the title that can be watched above. Featuring some amazing CGI from the team at Visual Works and a beautiful melody sung by Eir Aoi, the game just looks fantastic. 

Drakengard 3 will be released on October 31st in Japan on the PlayStation 3. A 10th Anniversary commemorative box set will be released with the game. Please, Square Enix - release it over here! It would nice to have more games like this around in the West.
