Here's a bunch of new Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Screenshots
Square Enix has just unleashed a slew of new screenshots and media for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, showing off the game in action to celebrate its playable appearance at this weekend's San Diego Comic Con.
The screenshots introduces fans to the 'City of Revelry', Yusnaan, revealing the Slaughterhouse, a brutal arena where battles are held nightly and the station, a deserted, forgotten area within the city's warehouse district.
Also shown off in the new shots is more on the battle system, including a demonstration how how in battle Lightning can target and destroy specific sections of an enemy. Through this enemies can be weakened, and additional post-battle awards can be unlocked. Also on show is Counterblow, Lightning's new counter-attack move. Though powerful, the move drains much of the ATB meter, so it must be used sparingly!
The shots are sadly in such a tiny resolution it's really a bit of a joke, but find them below regardless.
