PSU Closed Beta Competition

Readers of Japanese magazine Famitsu will find a chance to earn their places in the upcoming PS2 Closed Beta for Phantasy Star Universe. This follows the now full PC Beta.

To have a chance at participating, readers will have to fill out and mail in a special postcard that will be made available in certain June editions of Famitsu. The postcards must be received by July 14, 2006. On that date, 3,000 people will be selected at random, with winners being mailed their special closed beta discs soon after.

The disc will allow people to play a restricted version of the online game and through a portion of the game's offline story. People applying for this beta must be at least 12 years old and live in Japan.

As of yet - there is no news concerning a XBOX360 closed beta.
