Stella Deus: The Gate of Eternity Hits PS2 Classics

Amongst big releases like Diablo III today, the PS2 Classics section in the US PlayStation Store got a rather interesting update:  One of Atlus' strategy RPGs, Stella Deus: The Gate of Eternity.  Developed by Pinegrow, also known for Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth, this title stands out with its handdrawn world and sprites created by Shigenori Soejima, most famous for his work on the Persona series.

For those more interested in the story, here's a synopsis:  The world of Solum is slowly being covered with a deadly mist known as 'Miamsa', which kills and destroys anything it touches.  While many have lost hope, a few still struggle to find a way to stop the advancement of the Miasma.  Spero, helping his friend Vizer find a solution by hunting Spirits, ends up meeting a mysterious woman who may hold the true answers to stopping the threat...
