Digital sales of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn back online

A few weeks from its initial overwhelming launch, Square Enix has now reopened digital sales of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, its ambitious reboot of the originally disasterous Final Fantasy XIV. 

Demand after the game's late August launch was so overwhelming that the company was forced to temporarily suspend digital sales of the game to prevent more new users from flooding to its servers. After extensive server maintainence the company is now ready to accept new players.

In a statement issued to the press, the company thanks players existing and new for their patience. The game is available now, and is pretty damn good - so if you haven't tried it, do!
