Dragon Quest IX to hit Japan in March

Those Japanese gaming gurus over at Famitsu seem to have been sitting on a Square Enix secret for a couple of weeks, and have finally announced today that Dragon Quest IX will be released for the Nintendo DS in March 2009.

Fans worried that the game was stuck in 'development hell' can now have their fears eased, as the game is now 100% confirmed and on the way in a few months. A March release in Japan makes a 2009 release in the West even more likely, too.
