Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call gets an introduction video
Square Enix has released a new introduction trailer for the upcoming rhythm game sequel, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call.
Much like its predecessor, Curtain Call features classic songs that fans will remember from throughout the Final Fantasy series, and tasks players with battling cutesey versions of classic Final Fantasy foes with classic Final Fantasy characters. Battles and adventures take place in sometimes tough rhythm-game action - with the player using taps, slides, swipes and holds on the 3DS touch screen.
This newly released video shows off a small chunk of the game's voluminous track list as well as some of the new game modes that were not present in the original Theatrhythm title. See the video for yourself below.
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is set to release in Japan next month on April 24. An English-language Western release has not yet been announced, but given that Theatrhythm's original 3DS release sold well in the West, we fully anticipate an announcement to be on the cards in the near future.
