Watch the thunderous opening for The Witcher 3

The Witcher has always been known for its fascinating work on cinematics, especially for its intros. Whether it was Geralt's quest to remove a curse from a princess, to the very well known fight on the ship from The Witcher 2 which the developers called "the most expensive asset we ever created". 

With The Witcher 3's opening movie, Geralt walks through the remnants of a battle, retracing the footsteps of the the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg, his long-lost love, as she fights to escape from the Nilfgaardian army at a showdown in Temeria - all set to a powerful soundtrack.

The Witcher 3 will be released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One on February 24th, 2015.
