Final Fantasy Explorers screenshots introduce Sage & Blue Mage classes, Phoenix summon
Releasing tomorrow in Japan, Square Enix has posted a few more screenshots and artworks for Final Fantasy Explorers. Sages possess high offensive and healing magic power, utilizing concentration skills to boost effectiveness. Blue Mages, as is expected, can use abilities gained from monsters. Freelancers can use abilities and armors from other jobs in many combinations, although they don't excel in any particular stat.
A new summon monster Phoenix also gets an artwork and a few screens. Finally, we see that some of the of the summons can exhibit an alternate form when empowered by crystal energy. These seem to be additional challenge encounters for the player, although it isn't quite clear how these are met. Everything is in the gallery below.
