God Eater 2: Rage Burst media update
The promising God Eater 2: Rage Burst will soon find it way to the Playstation 4 (along with a Vita release), and Namco Bandai has gone ahead and put out a batch of new screenshots as the clock counts down to what surely will be a popular import title. Not only that, but just last week the publisher also posted a 1080P trailer to showcase the PS4 version, and it looks like a lot of fun.
Alongside the improved visuals and audio that you would expect from the leap, this version also expands upon the original release by offering a new story chapter aptly named "Rage Burst" along with a new game mechanic known as "Blood Rage" that is signified by a gauge on the HUD that fills up as you kill enemies, letting you unleash it once it is full to unlock a variety of different buffs.
God Eater 2: Rage Burst is set to be released in Japan on February 19th, 2015. There is still no word on a Western localization.
