New Witcher 3 gameplay and screenshots
New media has been released for CD Projekt's upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the studio's largest game yet.
At a recent preview event for the game, CD Projekt co-founder and CEO Marcin Iwinski talked about how they are tackling the now much-delayed open world RPG. "Our approach has totally changed from The Witcher 1 and The Witcher 2," Iwinski tells Polygon. Instead of targeting the devoted PC-only audience like with the original two games, as the series has grown in popularity, Iwinski wants the grow the audience as well.
"With every single game, we're adding a lot more polish and making it a lot more welcoming to the general gamer. I think this is just the way games should be done. I really admire, for example, BioWare or Bethesda for introducing its games to gamers."
In the posted gameplay video, we see Geralt of Rivia take on a quest, encounter a chimera, battle some wyverns, as well as ... taking a bath. We have screenshots in the gallery below.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt releases worldwide on May 19th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
