Final Fantasy XV demo to be available on Type-0 HD Launch Day
Square Enix Japan has confirmed that Final Fantasy XV's Demo, Episode Duscae, will be available to fans on the release day of Final Fantasy Type-0, easing fears that there might be a long wait to use the download token for the demo that's included in first-print run copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which launches next month.
Update: A representative for Square Enix Europe has confirmed to us that this will also be the case for Europe, telling us: "The FINAL FANTASY XV demo will be available day and date with FINAL FANTASY Type 0 HD in Europe and PAL territories, we will have further details about this very soon."
No further word on the US - but as their Los Angeles-based office rises, we'll try to confirm it's the case there for certain also.
Original Text: This announcement was made on a Japanese language stream, and what currently isn't clear is if the demo will also arrive in the West alongside Type-0 HD or if non-Japanese gamers will have to wait a little while longer for the demo, as Square Enix previously hinted might be the case. We've reached out to Square Enix in an attempt to find out if this is the case or not.
You can check out the final Type-0 HD Japanese Trailer below - it also includes some new FF15 footage starting at the 2:40 mark. Beware, the trailer contains some pretty large FF Type-0 spoilers.
