Xenoblade Chronicles X shows off field locales and character creation

MonolithSoft has unveiled new media for Xenoblade Chronicles X, showing off character creation aspects, images of the various locales you will travel to, as well as a little bit of exploration gameplay. There are also screenshots of a few example characters you can make, created by members of the development team.

The official website has also updated with details about the 8 factions you can join and undertake quests for: PathFinder, Interceptor, Avalanche, Testament, Colepedian, Land Bank, Arms, and Companion.

The video clips and screenshots are below. Xenoblade Chronicles X releases in Japan on April 29th, and launches in North America and Europe later this year.
