Star Wars: The Old Republic's Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion revealed

It wasn't only Mass Effect: Andromeda that BioWare discussed in EA's E3 2015 Press Conference, taking to the stage to reveal their upcoming Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic.

This story-focused expansion will see your character become Great Galactic War veteran The Outlander, and placed at the center of an emerging conflict.

When a third faction threatens the balance of the galaxy, the choices that you make will determine the fate of both the Sith Empire and Galactic Republic. Unexpected twists and betrayals are promised, with players free to choose between joining or betraying companions old and new.

The level cap will be raised to 65, with players free to create a new character as The Outlander that will immediately start at Level 60.

The Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion will release worldwide on October 27th. It will be free to subscribers, with those that are subscribed to the free-to-play MMO from July 31st until launch being able to earn additional in-game rewards. These will be unlocked at launch, namely being the Nico Okarr Companion, Nico Okarr Blaster Set and Duster Coat, and a Swoop Bike.

Those that remain subscribed until launch will also receive an Early Access Bonus Reward, that will let you play the expansion seven days prior to live launch on October 20th.
