Nier Automata out February 23rd in Japan

There's a lot of Japanese release dates being unveiled today. NieR: Automata is just another of them, with Square Enix revealing that their cross-up with Platinum Games will arrive on February 23rd, 2017. 

The announcement was made at Sony's PlayStation Japan Press Conference for 2016, which as ever has taken place in the run-up to the Tokyo Game Show.

We interviewed some of the folks behind Nier quite recently, with the developers teasing that the game is a lot more RPG than some people might assume given Platinum's involvement in its development. A new trailer was also shown at the event, but there's not a huge amount to see in it. See it for yourself below all the same.
