First screenshots for The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2
Nippon Ichi Software has posted the first screenshots and details for The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2, and has also opened the official website. The game is set to release Winter 2017 in Japan on PlayStation 4.
The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 is unrelated to the events and the world of the first game. This new setting is the world of Kevara, which has been overrun by bouts of "Witches Disease", which can change young children into dangerous witches - noted by a third eye developing on their forehead.
Sisters Amalie and Mirium lost their parents to a witch, and live modestly in a secluded village. One day Mirium goes missing, and just when the villagers are about to give up the search, Mirium returns - with the eye of the witch who killed her parents on her forehead.
Mirium transforms to Chelka when in witch form, but the transformation is not fully complete, so at times she will revert back to her normal girl self.
Amalie is a member of an anti-witch organization known as “WR,” However, due to her Mirium falling victim to witch's disease, Amalie decides to protect Mirium from "WR." The game will center on the relationship between these sisters.
Similar to the previous game, the Hundred Knight works as the player avatar and provides combat under the control of Chelka as her familiar.
