New Final Fantasy XV screenshots featuring Shiva, Altissia and Chainsaw Weapons

Square Enix Japan has just released an all-new batch of screenshots of Final Fantasy XV in action, giving fans a deeper glimpse at a few different aspects of the game.

The screens were released via Japanese gaming website 4Gamer, and basically break down into 3 different batches:

• The first few screens show off summon/eidolon/guardian force/goddess/whatever you prefer Shiva. There's more than one of her this time... and even a few more than the two Shiva sisters we had in FF13.
• Another six screens show off Altissia, a major location in FF15. It's the capital of Accordia, which is a neighbor state to protagonist Noctis' kingdom. It's a bit like a Final Fantasy take on Venice. It's pretty.
• The third set of screens show off some details about the usable weapons and the like for members of the party in FF15. Prompto here is wielding machine-type weapons, which in this context translates to a great big fantasy chainsaw, because of course it does. Other screens offer a glimpse at the skill tree, leveling up, and the Libra skill in action. As in previous FFs, this skill reveals enemy HP, strengths, weaknesses and so on.
