Persona 5 delayed to April 4, free Japanese voice DLC available at launch
Atlus has announced that Persona 5 has been delayed to April 4, 2017 in North America and Europe. To lessen the sting of the delay, the publisher also announced that Japanese Voices will be available as a free DLC at the game's new launch date.
Cited reasons for the delay include more time needed to refine the English localization. John Hardin - Atlus USA's PR Manager - confirmed during a demo livestream that there will be extra voice work for lines that were not originally voiced. All DLC from the Japanese version of the game is also planned to release in the west.
In addition, Atlus posted several new trailers for Persona 5, including the Daily Life trailer (above). English character trailers for Yusuke and Makoto have also been posted; you can find those along with the rest of the cast here.
Finally, Atlus has updated the Take Your Heart Premium Edition with new artwork. The included art book, soundtrack CD, SteelBook case and collectible outer box now show their final designs. You can buy the Take Your Heart Premium edition on Amazon for $89.99.
