NieR: Automata supports PS4 Pro with some improvements
Dengeki held a special one-hour livestream with Square Enix today sharing new information about NieR: Automata. They revealed several features, including the game's enhancements on the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The base version of NieR: Automata will run at a 1600x900 resolution while the PS4 Pro version supports a native 1920x1080 picture. This is to ensure that both versions of the game run at a locked 60 frames-per-second to ensure smooth, consistent gameplay.
Other technical improvements from the Playstation 4 Pro version of NieR: Automata include:
- Motion blur on character models' movements bringing about more intense action from combat.

- Sharper environmental details like sunlight scattering through the trees

- Finer technical enhancements including detailed shadows and increased foliage to further enrich the atmosphere.
