Mass Effect: Andromeda arrives March 21
The Mass Effect blog announced today that Mass Effect: Andromeda, the newest entry in Bioware's sci-fi series, will be launching in North America on March 21 and March 23 for Europe. That's only two months away! Bioware's Aaryn Flynn discusses in the blog post about how the Frostbite engine used for Andromeda will "deliver a tremendous graphical jump" from Mass Effect 3, and how excited for release at the studio has reached at all time high.
We're expecting some new gameplay footage within the next several hours at NVidia's CES keynote, so stay tuned!
Update
Game Informer has posted a handful of new screens for Mass Effect Andomeda before the CES Keynote
Not caught up on Andromeda details? Here's some neat gameplay shown at The Game Awards, and here's some notes about how Andromeda relates in other games of the series. It's the fourth game in the series, but is not directly related to Shepard's story or the reaper invasion told in the original trilogy.
