Tetracast - Episode 57: RPG Site in Space
Welcome to another edition of the Tetracast, RPG Site's weekly podcast!
It was a quiet week, the first we've had in what feels like months with the constant onslaught of headliners and game releases. But that won't last for long with all the big releases coming in the next couple weeks. Regardless, let's get right into it!
Before we head into the top stories of the week, Josh shares his ongoing adventures in Star Ocean Anamnesis and his lucky gacha rolls. Meanwhile, Bryan is finishing things off his plate with Tales of Berseria and Torment: Tides of Numenera. Lastly, Zack talks a little bit about Toukiden 2 before its release next week.
And then we head into news! Sony revealed the PlayStation 3 will be ending production in Japan soon, truly an end of an era. Also, to beef up their PlayStation Now library, they announced PlayStation 4 games will soon find its way on to the service, allowing PC owners a chance to try out its exclusives.
Unfortunately, the only news coming out of Atlus yesterday was bad news as a misunderstanding with Amazon caused a small number of Persona 5 preorders to be canceled. On the other hand, Ghostlight Games continues their commitment to bring more JRPGs to PC as they announce Lost Dimension will be heading to the platform soon. We wrap up our discussion with a few new game announcements including a new Digimon Story entry!
