Valkyria Chronicles 2 to get DLC
Sega have confirmed that Valkyria Chronicles 2 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and have downloadable content made available after launch, despite the sequel being on a hand-held console.
The Valkyria Chronicles series is on the PSP this time, sizing down it's strategy RPG gameplay to a smaller screen. The DLC will be smaller to match, coming in more bite-sized chunks such as individual mission downloads rather than the entire scenario expansions released for the first game.
In addition to traditional downloaded content the game will also come with several unlocks hidden on the disc - and these will be made available to players over time via special passwords released on the official site.
The game's out in Japan at the end of this month. It's confirmed for 2010 in the West.
