Dragon Quest XI to be released for PS4 and 3DS on July 29 in Japan
During a special livestream, Square Enix announced Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time will be released in Japan on July 29, 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS. The PS4 version will run for ¥8,980 and the Nintendo 3DS version will cost ¥5,980. Unfortunately, we didn't hear anything about the Nintendo Switch version, but hopefully we'll hear about that one soon.
Along with the announcement, Square Enix also posted two new trailers - one for the PS4 version, and the other for the 3DS, which you can watch below.

Those who buy the first print run of Dragon Quest XI will be able to pick up the “Vest of Happiness,” a vest that increases the number experience points earned from battles, and the “Upstart Vest,” which increases the amount of gold earned from battles.

The “Dragon Quest XI Double Pack Hero’s Sword Box” offers both the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS versions. The bundle is sold exclusively at the Square Enix e-Store and Lawson HMV Stores for ¥14,960.
Along with that, both Sony Japan and Nintendo have plans to release special hardware bundles for the upcoming RPG. For now, you can view some screenshots in the gallery below.
