Nippon Ichi profits down big-time

RPG masters Nippon Ichi have released their earnings report for the first nine months of the 2009/10 fiscal year - and it's not exactly rosy, with the operating profit of the niche developer and publisher down 97.5 percent.

That's not too hot, but 2009 has been a quieter year for Nippon Ichi with key releases including remakes and a PSP-based comic.

2010 should hopefully be much stronger for them with titles like Last Rebellion for PS3 and the first ever Western release of a Sakura Wars title for both Wii and PS2.
