Toy Story World announced for Kingdom Hearts III, release date set for 2018

At the 'Level Up! Walt Disney Company Video Game Showcase' at D23 Expo this weekend, Disney and Square Enix announced that a world based on Toy Story will appear in Kingdom Hearts III. This joins Tangled and Big Hero 6 as new worlds for the game, along with Olympus Coliseum as a returning world.

The 'story' of the Toy Story world will not specifically be based on one of the movies, but rather will be an independent narrative featuring the Toy Story characters. Here is the subtitled trailer:

At the end of the trailer shown, it was announced that Kingdom Hearts III is set to release in 2018. It is set to launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Square Enix provided a new set of screenshots and character models which we have in the gallery below.
